Small Business of the Year

Small businesses play a vital role in the day-to-day life of our communities—from creating local jobs to providing the services and spaces that bring people together across the 76th Assembly District.

As part of National Small Business Month, my office is recognizing a local business that exemplifies service, innovation, and a strong commitment to the community. We are now accepting nominations for Assembly District 76’s 2026 Small Business of the Year.

I encourage you to take a moment to nominate a business that has made a difference in your neighborhood. Whether it’s a small storefront, a family-run operation, or a growing local employer, your input helps ensure we are highlighting businesses that truly reflect our community.

The selected business will be formally recognized by our office on May 10, National Small Business Day.

To be eligible, the business must be located within the 76th Assembly District. If you’re unsure whether a business falls within district boundaries, you can check here: findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov

Nominations must be received by April 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Thank you for helping us recognize the small businesses that keep our communities strong!
